Amps
Continuing the space-saving trend, Arzadon had the three PRS amps (two PRS-D1200M for the subs and one PRS-D4200F for the other speakers) installed on a swinging arm on top of the spare tire. Wiring moves with the amp rack, so if Arzadon encounters some rough roads, he can easily get to the spare tire. With the amps in this location, he retains all his cargo space. Once the carpet is in place, you don't even know the gear is back there.
Video
Keeping in mind that entertaining his baby was a priority, Arzadon had to get video to the rear seats. For that, he picked up two AVD-W7900 7-inch monitors. A little cutting into foam and routing wire got them tucked into each front seat headrest.
Engine
Though Arzadon retained the factory battery, he utilized Scosche EFX accessories for the system's wiring needs. He also tapped Scosche's Accumat to sound dampen throughout the car.
Subwoofers
Saving space in the compact car, Arzadon utilized a pair of Pioneer TS-SW841D 8-inch subwoofers under the seats. As seen in the build pictures, Yato molded fiberglass enclosures to the floor, with the tops following the curves of the seats. "The enclosures were custom built to fit perfectly (and I mean perfectly) under the seat without sacrificing an inch of space," Arzadon boasts. With the upfront location, the bass hits right when it should and Arzadon can't say enough about the installation. Regardless of the fact that these are two 8-inch subs, they give him all the bass he wanted and more. "See what great speakers in the correct-size enclosure gets you," Arzadon enthuses. "Any late-model Scion xB owners can order these enclosures from Chris and Tim (Elite Concepts) if they're interested," he adds.
