Amplifier Rack: A single six-channel McIntosh MC440M amplifier drives the system with state-of-the-art sound. Installed on a custom amprack with a 1/2-inch acrylic cover, the multi-channel amplifier has no trouble driving the seven-speaker system. Jon built the rack using 3/4-inch MDF and finished it to match the original cabinetry. It also houses a McIntosh MDA4000 D/A converter and power and ground distribution.
