Completing the show car equation

Custom body work, made-to-order rims, and wild finishes will get you plenty of attention on the show circuit, but your ride won't be complete without an awesome sound system. Competitor Klaud Czeslawski took that sentiment to heart when modifying his 1997 Volkswagen Golf TREK 2.1i Turbo. In addition to upgrades on the performance end, he equipped his VW with an Alphasonik sound system so elaborate that it impressed the speaker-happy Alphasonik folks.

The ride flaunts a pair each of 8", 10" and 12" subwoofers; three carbon-fiber component sets; and three amps. To back up this Alphasonik equipment, Czeslawski incorporated a high-power Alphasonik equalizer, a 5-farad capacitor and power distribution blocks with digital gauges. Matching the signature electric orange of the Alphasonik products, Czeslawski painted the interior panels and exterior of his ride in the same dazzling hue.

Not only has Czeslawski's ride garnered glances from Alphasonik and caraudiomag.com, but it has also won a few awards on the show circuit. In addition to much attention at NOPI and Hot Import Nights, it recently took home the "Top Ten Wild" and "Best Sound System" at the Atlanta Dragway. Here's to putting on a show!
