Get set for summer with a free navi

Text Size

Till June 16th, Continental Tire is giving away a free Magellan Roadmate 1200 GPS system to anyone who purchases four Conti tires valued at $499 or more. It's right in time for summer travels, when you want your ride shod safely in fresh tires and want your dash equipped with a never-get-lost device. Also, you can also enter Continental's "Ultimate Adventure" Sweepstakes, which puts a Range Rover Sport up for the grand prize.

Customized by West Coast Customs, this is a Range Rover you'll want to drive, even with the rising cost of gas. Other adventurous prizes include the 1st Prize TREK mountain bike and 2nd Prize Canon 40D camera to document your travels. You don't have to buy anything to enter the sweepstakes. Just visit, www.contisweeps.com. If you upload your own personal adventure story and picture, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a set of tires.

As for the navigation unit, it features a 3.5" QVGA full-color, anti-glare touch-screen display, QuickSpell that intelligently searches and checks spelling when entering addresses and SmartDetour which prompts drivers to route around heavy or stationary traffic.

Check back with car audio as we get ready for summer ourselves with a bevy of nav reviews!
