With a hot red paint job and sleek racing stripes to boot, Calvin Williams' 2001 Civic is more than just flash. With two Sony 500 watt amps and one 150 amp, this Civic's power is not just in its appearance.
For his speaker needs, Williams installed eight 6 " Sony 3 way coaxial speakers and two pairs of Visonik tweeters. Not to mention two 6 " Visonik two-way coaxial speakers in the trunk lid. Two 10" Visonik subs fill out the bottom end.
Add a 7" Microvision tft monitor fiberglass-mounted in the center console, two 7" Audiostorm tft monitors (one on the trunk and one on the trunk lid), and a Playstation 2 in a custom enclosure and you have just about everything you need for a customized audio environment.
Williams' work was enough to win him 1st place in the 2004 NOPI Nationals for a Civic 2001 and newer and 1st place Civic in the Elite Audio Summer Nationals.
